Trip 1 - Tbilisi walking tour
Tbilisi city sitghseeing program – walking in old town and historical centre. While walking you will explore in one of the first districts of our capital and enjoy colourful houses, wooden balconies and wonderful samples of architecture. You will start tour from Metekhi Church (12-13 century), from where opens magnificient view to old Tbilisi. Later walk towards Tamada Statue and historical Caravansaray. Visit Sioni Cathedral (6-7 century), Peace Bridge and Clock Tower.
Afterwards we take cable car up to Mother of Georgia and will have panorama view on whole city. Later walk downhill to Narikala Fortress (4 century) and will end our tour in Sulphur Bath district after visiting stunning faterfall.
Trip 2 - Mtskheta - Jvari - Uplistsikhe cave town
You will visit Georgia’s ancient capital Mtskheta and historical sites which are in UNESCO world heritage list. Svetitskhoveli cathedral (11 century) is known as burial place of Christ’s robe and Jvari monastery (6 century) which offers magnificent view over old capital. Later we drive to Gori, town where is was born Stalin. Afterwards drive to ancient cavetown on Georgia’s territory. Great Silk Road passed this area therefore caused development of Uplistsikhe cave town (1 millennium BC). Here you have chance to see caves hewn out in rock, antic theatre, wine cellar, prison, churches and secret tunnel.
Trip 3 - Sighnaghi - Bodbe - Tsinandali - Gombori
We travel to Kakheti known as wine growing region and visit it’s historical sites.
At first visit small but very beautiful town Sighnaghi which is called “City of Love”. Town is surrounded by defensive wall and towers and gives chance to have stunning view of Alazany valley and Great Caucasus mountains. We also visit nearby monastery Bodbe where is grave of Saint Nino, who converted Georgian people to Christianity. Later we drive to Tsinandali to visit local duke’s museum and beautiful garden. Afterwards drive back to Tbilisi through Gombori path.
Trip 4 - Ananuri - Gudauri - Kazbegi
We drive to one of the most beautiful part of Georgia, Khevi region along the famous Georgian Military highway, which is leading to the Georgia-Russian border. Our first stop will be at Ananuri Fortress which overlooks Jinvali water reservoir and amazes spectators. Continue driving to Gudauri Ski Resort through Great Caucasus mountains and Cross Pass (2395m), highest point of military highway. Later arrive in small town Kazbegi, from where we drive up by 4x4 jeep through beautiful valleys and forest. After short drive arrive in Gergeti Trinity Church (14 century, 2200m).
Trip 5 - Wine tour in Kakheti region
We will visit Kakheti region which is called Cradle of wine and visit several wineries. You will have chance to taste tradiotionally made wine in Kvevri and get acquainted to Georgian customs.
Trip 6 - David Gareja caves
David Gareja is one of the cave complexes located in semi-desert area. Nature and landscape amazes visitors , you will have chance to see old frescoes in caves and witness Azerbaijan from the ridge.
